We exist to love God, love people and make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ.
As a church, we are called to carry out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment, and our vision statement was created to capture both of these critical mandates. All that we do is focused on fulfilling this mission and is reliant on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
We love God by making Him and His Word the centre of our lives, by becoming increasingly devoted in our worship and prayer and by continually receiving the Holy Spirit.
We love people both in and outside of the church, focusing particularly on those who are vulnerable and suffering. We seek to imitate Jesus and bring hope and care.
We make disciples as we lovingly demonstrate and share the wonderful news of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection with people far from God. We mature disciples in the context of loving community, encouraging each other towards joyful, loving obedience of Jesus Christ.
Disciple making is who we are and what we do. We understand mature disciples to have healthy ‘up, in, out’ lives, imitating Jesus as we:
Look UP to the Father in worship and prayer
Invite fellow disciples IN to learn and grow together
Reach OUT to a hurting and lost world
As we do all this, our MISSION is to be a church with a growing number of disciple forming communities across our neighbourhoods and the nations.’
